Leverage Shares, a pioneer in the market of Exchange Traded Products (ETPs), today launches another 41 ETPs on Xetra, a trading technology platform operated by the Deutsche Börse Group. With this launch the company has expanded its tactical ETP range targeting sectors such as Oil & Gas, Gold Miners, Clean Energy, Biotechnologies and Financials. The innovative products will be easily accessible and tradeable for German investors. Please see full list in the table below. Among the list of 41 ETPs, some notable companies and sectors are:

  • ARK ETPs*
  • Biotechnology ETPs
  • Clean Energy ETP
  • ETPs on Asian champions (like Alibaba, NIO, and Baidu)

Among the newly launched ETPs is the Leverage Shares -3x Short NIO ETP (XS2399365555), which is debuting with a 0% management fee. The firm also offers the Leverage Shares -1x Short Tesla ETP (IE00BKT6ZH01) and the Leverage Shares -3x Short Tesla ETP (XS2337090265) on Xetra, which also have a 0% management fee. This fee holiday is until September 30, 2022 and may be extended. ETPs aim to generate returns based on the price movements of an underlying asset or benchmark. These new ETP listings are in response to investor demand for more innovative products. Leverage Shares ETPs are physically backed, meaning the ETPs physically own the underlying stock, so no swaps or derivatives are used to gain exposure

One of the special features of Leverage Shares’ ETPs is that many of the securities are equipped with leverage. This allows investors to participate disproportionately high in increasing prices of the underlying securities while benefiting from a low management fee. The management fee is between 0.35 and 0.75 percent – significantly less than actively managed strategies.

Commenting on the launch, Oktay Kavrak, Director of Product Strategy at Leverage Shares said: “As the pioneer in single stock leveraged ETPs, Leverage Shares entered the German market earlier this year and we are now expanding the range even further with an aggressive pipeline of products. What differentiates us is that we are actively listening to our investors and committed to providing them with the broadest range of tactical trading tools available on the market with low management fees.¨

*These products are offered by Leverage Shares, and are not offered, endorsed or approved by Ark Investment Management.
