However, prices have been consolidating since July 2020, despite having repeatedly hit marginal new records. The graphical picture both in absolute and relative terms suggests the continuation of the status quo, that is, with price fluctuations within the $2,900/$3,000 – $3,500/$3,800 band. The short-term trend has been downward for a few weeks. There are signs of deterioration below $2,870.
